I have spent years perfecting my skills as a photographer with a special interest in maternity, newborn, and following your baby’s milestones through the first year. My passion for photography is only second to my passion for my family. I have 5 children and a loving husband who I spend my time off with. My love for family helps me connect with my clients by understanding their needs and desires. I enjoy all the simple things in life and am always up for a good laugh. - My dad, he recently passed away but he's still my favorite.

- Shoes are my weakness.
- My favorite piece of jewelry is earrings. You'll never see me with out any on.
- I have a ton of notebooks, I love taking notes and writing things down.
- Beside keeping my children alive, I have plants I love!

Everyone asks me what is the best part of having a big family?
I think the best part of having a big family is the never ending friends. Summer time, dinners, carnivals, vacations, we never feel like we need anyone else. We have someone for everyone. Everyone always feels included. Growing up my dad always reminded us this was it, the most important people in your life will always be those under your roof. I hope my children grow up feeling like we are each other's biggest fans!

"We used Joyful Sound for our newborn pictures recently at her studio. We were pleased to realize that Jessica schedules newborn photos with ample time to give the baby time to feed if necessary. I was very happy that I did not have to stress about the baby’s schedule. The beautiful dresses she offers for new moms to wear for free is a major plus! I appreciated that I requested a pose and she was more than willing to take the shot! It is evident that Jessica is experienced and my newborn was comfortable in her hands the entire time. We especially loved that she had a warmer in the room to keep the baby cozy. Highly recommend her! Quick turn around!"
